1 Peter 2:24 (Amplified)
He personally bore our sins in His (own) body on the tree (as on an altar and offered Himself on it), that we might die (cease to exist ) to sin and live to righteousness.  By His wounds you have been healed.
 
 
Sickness and disease are a direct result of sin; sin is the reason for sickness and disease.  We must learn why there is sickness; we need to know the root of all disease.  It is because man is born into the kingdom of darkness.  He has the choice to choose another kingdom which is the Kingdom of Light which has the power to overcome darkness just as a dark room is overtaken when we turn on a light.  

As we renew our minds we realize that through Jesus’ sacrifice we are no longer subject to sin consciousness and guilt.  That is when we can stand for our healing and receive it.  The root of healing is in understanding that we are no longer subject to sin and its results.  Jesus did not have to bear each sickness; He bore the sin of every man which delivers him from sickness which is the result of the sin.  Meditate until we receive this revelation so that the healing which has been provided becomes ours personally.

 
Thank You, gracious Heavenly Father, for Your provision; help me to understand that healing is mine and that I must learn to submit to You and resist the one who would test me for standing on Your Word in faith.  Thank You, Jesus, for Your obedience unto death that provides me with righteousness; thank You for Your Holy Spirit who is my helper to lay hold of this truth.  Amen.
