Matthew 21:19 (Amplified)
And as He saw one single leafy fig tree above the roadside, He went to it but He found nothing but leaves on it (seeing that in the fig tree the fruit appears at the same time as the leaves).  And He said to it, Never again shall fruit grow on you!  And the fig tree withered up at once.

When we make Jesus the Lord of our lives, we take on His attributes; therefore, the power working in His life, is working in our lives.  Too often, we just do not realize the ability that we have been given and the enemy tries to keep us that way to protect himself.  We need to become aware of the awesome power that we have to continue Jesus’ work on earth.  Not to condemn fig trees but to condemn sickness, disease, failure, and every work of darkness that inhabits our lives and the lives of those around us.

With a grateful heart, I come to You, Father. May Your Holy Spirit enlighten me giving me revelation of that power that has been given to me when I made You the Lord of my life.  Because I love You I want to bring glory to Your name by continuing the work that Jesus began.  I ask this in Jesus’ Name Who was obedient unto death that I might become like Him.  Amen
