Proverbs 16:3 (Amplified)
Roll your works upon the Lord (commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and) so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Worry is needless and a show of mistrust in our Heavenly Father.  When we examine worry we realize that it is a demonstration of unbelief.  We do not believe that He will do what He has promised to do so we fret over it.  We hassle ourselves mentally over so many issues that we have just prayed about which really shows us how much faith we have in having our prayers answered.  Let us begin to focus our attention on the answer and meditate on that instead of meditating on the negative.

We were born in a negative world so it is natural to worry but as spiritually re-born people, we must focus on what has been done for us.  We have to renew our minds, re-think according to God’s Word.  A good starting place is to read His Word; learn what He has to say about life.  Change our former ways of thinking to His way of thinking.

Thank You, Father in heaven, for making me aware that worry is a show of mistrust; please forgive me for You are worthy to be trusted.  Help me, Holy Spirit, to change my attitudes and ways of thinking so that I learn to cast my cares on You in faith believing that You are able to care for me.  I come before You boldly in Jesus’ Name Who trusted You with His life when He yielded it for my salvation.  Amen.
