1 John 2:10 (Amplified)If we want to live as Jesus did and to have His power working in us, we have to obey the commandments that have been given to us. No matter what we do for God, it is as nothing unless it is done in love. Love for Him is the first commandment; love for our neighbor is the second. When we walk in love, we do not offend Him or our neighbor; this means that we do not take offence. Hard to do? Yes. We learn to do it by taking one step after another. It may take time but He is always patient with us if we keep on trying. He is ever present to support us, to hold our hand in our hurts, and to smooth our ruffled feathers. There is a reward. And, believe me, it is worth the effort that we have to put forth.
